Character Name: Garrett Balington
Object: Prickly Pear
Biography: Laid back and fun loving was the best way to describe Baloo. He cared for every one of his friends but he cared for no one as much as he did the man-cub Mowgli. Since Baloo had no cub of his own, he took Mowgli under his paw and taught him everything from how to fight to what foods tasted best. Though at first he denied it, the panther Bagheera eventually convinced Baloo that he had to let Mowgli be with his own kind. Unfortunately the obstacle of the tiger Shere Khan stood in his way. Baloo fought Shere Khan the best he could but the tiger wounded Baloo, the curse setting in as Baloo died which saved his life. Papa Bear Baloo became Garrett, owner and head chef of the dessert shop Papa Bears. The one fruit he has never worked with, the prickly pear, is ironically his object so he has not gotten his memories back.
