Biography: Abandoned by his parents, Mowgli was raised by wolves in the jungle. When he heard the lead wolf, Akeelah, tell the panther, Bagheera, that Mowgli must be returned to the village of men, he ran away. Along the way he met someone who would take him in under his paw, the big bear Baloo. Baloo became a father figure to the man-cub. Mowgli followed Baloo, unaware that papa bear had been convinced to take him back to the man village. He saved Baloo from Shere Khan but watched as papa bear’s life ended, the curse setting in. Mowgli the Man-Cub became Antonio Balington, the adopted son of Garrett Balington. Antonio is the bus boy at Papa Bear’s. He has found the object linking him to his past life, the basket he was abandoned in, though he doesn’t mention it to Garrett because he knows the other man doesn’t remember his old life.
