Laid back and casual, few things in life bothered John Little except for the lack of funds that some seemed to have. He wished everyone was on the same path, were given the same chances as others. He knew it wasn’t ever going to be like that. The rich got richer and the poor, well, they got poorer. It was just the way life had treated him and his buddy Alex Hoodson.

Today could be the best day of his life however. With some of the money he had saved to himself, he was planning on enrolling in some college courses. He sat in the lobby on the dean’s building at the college glancing at the people who sat around him. “Hi, I’m John Little,” he introduced himself to one of the people sitting next to him.
